GR Kids Food Basket

ABCD Training volunteers at the Kid's Food Basket in Grand Rapids. 
The idea behind the Kids Food Basket is "to ensure that kids in Kent County do not go to bed hungry". Their website does a great job of explaining what they do and how you can help. 

ABCD has taken their families their to volunteer. The different ages of the families range from 4 years old to 50 years old. It is a great family activity where you do something to help others. Our volunteer experiences typically included painting lunch bags, packing lunches and making sandwiches.
